With their own domain constraint

  • Public sector — manufacturing and importing

    I ran a manufacturing and importing company focused on public procurement. The constraint was not technical, it was business: deciding which tenders to compete for without spending time on losing bids. I built the full chain — a cost estimator with deviation bounded to ~9% for preliminary viability, an automation that cross-checked against the RUP (Registro Único de Proponentes, the national bidders' registry) for legal viability, and a predictor of the optimal bid value for the electronic auction.

  • Education

    Data system for a project tracking 135 educational institutions, with two databases that shared no common identifier. I reconciled them with a fuzzy matching algorithm (TF-IDF + cosine similarity) — the constraint was finding the same record written in different ways across each source, not a volume problem.

  • Private security, surveillance and freight transport

    Nearly 16 years of internal consulting, focused on regulatory compliance: I implemented and administer their Microsoft 365 tenant, automated the payment and settlement approval flows, and served as internal auditor for the BASC 5.0.3 certification —the standard that applies to them because they transport goods—, for which I wrote the manuals, procedures, guides, protocols and formats of the IT area.

Light touch, no specific constraint

  • Finance — algorithmic trading

    Direct integration with a broker's API to pull real-time market data and compute trend indicators, without relying on a spreadsheet. A brief exploration, not a finished product.

  • Export / international markets

    Data analysis and business viability for exporting fresh agricultural produce to international markets.
